What is Hepatitis
- Hepatitis is inflammation of the liver and characterized by the presence of inflammatory cells in the tissue of the organ.
- The name is from the Greek hepar, the root being hepat, meaning liver, and suffix -itis, meaning inflammation.
- Liver acts as a chemical power plant
- Produces clotting factors
- Produces proteins
- Filters toxins
- Stores vitamins & nutrients
- Regulates hormones
Symptoms of Hepatitis
- Hepatitis may occur with limited or no symptoms, but often leads to jaundice, anorexia (poor appetite) and malaise.
- Hepatitis is acute when it lasts less than six months and chronic when it persists longer.
- A group of viruses known as the hepatitis viruses cause most cases of hepatitis worldwide, but it can also be due to toxins, other infections and autoimmune diseases.
- Jaundice, which causes a yellowing of the skin and eyes
- Fatigue
- Abdominal pain
- Loss of appetite
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Low grade fever
- Headache
- However, some people do not have symptoms.
Hepatitis A, B, C, D and E
- Hepatitis A (HAV): Jaundice, self-limiting, never becomes chronic.
- Hepatitis B (HBV): Becomes chronic in only 10% of the cases.
- Hepatitis C (HCV): Becomes chronic in 85% of people exposed to it.
- Hepatitis D (HDV): Affects only if already infected with hepatitis B.
- Hepatitis E (HEV): Spreads by drinking water infected with the virus. It can also spread through oral-anal contact.
Hepatitis A Virus
- HAV is caused by eating food and drinking water infected with a virus called HAV.
- It can also be caused by anal-oral contact during sex.
- While it can cause swelling and inflammation in the liver, it doesn’t lead to chronic, or lifelong, disease.
- Almost everyone who gets hepatitis A has a full recovery.
- Formerly prevented with gamma globulin
- New effective vaccine
Hepatitis B Virus
- HBV can spread by:
- Sharing drug needles.
- Getting tattoo or body piercing with dirty tools.
- Getting pricked with a infected needle.
- Sharing a toothbrush, razor, or other personal items.
- An infected woman can give HBV to her baby at birth or through her breast milk.
- Through a bite from another person.
- HBV becomes serious infection that causes liver damage, resulting in cancer.
- Enveloped DNA virus
- Recombinant vaccine
Hepatitis C Virus
- HCV spreads the same way as HBV, through contact with an infected person’s blood, semen, or body fluid.
- It causes swelling of the liver and causes liver damage that can lead to cancer.
- This may lead to a scarring of the liver, called cirrhosis.
- More likely than HBV to become chronic.
- No vaccine
Hepatitis D Virus
- HDV is caused only if you are already infected with HBV.
- It is spread through contact with infected blood, dirty needles that have HDV on them, and unprotected sex with a person infected with HDV.
- It causes swelling of the liver.
Hepatitis E Virus
- HEV is caused by drinking water infected with the virus.
- It causes swelling of the liver, but no long-term damage.
- It can also be spread through oral-anal contact.

- Treated with Interferon alpha and ribavirin
- No cure but slows liver damage

HCV/HIV Co-Infection
- When a person has HIV and hepatitis C, it’s referred to as co-infection and should be tested for hepatitis A, B and C.
- If negative for A and B, they should talk to their doctor about getting vaccines for A & B.
- Find a doctor knowledgeable about both HIV and HCV, and start discussing treatment
- Strategies for HIV and HCV.
- Discussions about treatment strategies should include consideration of the benefits and risks of immediate or deferred HCV treatment. Decisions to treat should be made on an individual basis.
Treatment
- The decision to treat is a complex issue which must be made in consultation with a qualified physician, taking into consideration the following variables:
- Age of the patient
- General state of health
- Risk of cirrhosis
- Likelihood of response
- Other medical conditions that may decrease life expectancy or contraindicate the use of interferon or ribavirin.
- Patients with moderate/severe necro-inflammation and/or fibrosis should be treated.
Treatment Options
- Currently there are only two options for Allopathic method of treatment of HCV infection.
- Interferon / Ribavirin (combination)
- Pegylated Interferon / Ribavirin (combination)
- All treatment decisions should be made by the patient and their treating physician.
Treatment HAV
- HAV vaccine is available.
- Treatment with immune globulin can provide short-term immunity to hepatitis A when given before exposure or within 2 weeks of exposure to the virus.
- Avoiding tap water when traveling and practicing good hygiene and sanitation also helps prevent hepatitis A.
- It usually resolves on its own over several weeks.
Treatment HBV
- The HBV vaccine is available for the best protection.
- Drugs approved for the treatment of chronic HBV include Alpha Interferon and Peginterferon, which slows the replication of the virus in the body and also boost the immune system.
- The antiviral drugs Lamivudine, Adefovir Dipivoxil, Entecavir, and Telbivudine.
- Severe acute HBV can be treated with an antiviral drug such as Lamivudine.
Treatment HCV
- There is no vaccine for hepatitis C.
- The only way to prevent the disease is to reduce the risk of exposure to the virus.
- Chronic HCV is treated with Peginterferon together with the antiviral drug Ribavirin.
- If acute hepatitis C does not resolve on its own within 2 to 3 months, drug treatment is recommended.
Treatment HDV
- People not already infected with hepatitis B should receive the HBV vaccine.
- Chronic HDV is usually treated with Pegylated Interferon.
Treatment HEV
- There is no approved vaccine for HEV.
- The only way to prevent the disease is to reduce the risk of exposure to the virus.
- Hepatitis E usually resolves on its own over several weeks or months.
Alternative Treatment 1
- Fagonia (Dhamasa) plant is very useful for all types and stages of hepatitis cure and liver cancer. Just take whole green branch of Fagonia (including leaves, flowers, seeds and thorns), wash it with water and then rub/grind it in water, and drink 2-3 times a day, immediately after meals. You can also dry its branches in airy shadow, after washing in water. Then grind it to powder, filter it and take half teaspoon with water or milk, twice or thrice a day. Continue it for six months even after full recovery. You can also convert it to tablets by mixing some honey, for easy swallowing.

Alternative Treatment 2
- Chinese pills BIFENDATE (Biphenyl Dimdthoxy Dicaboxylate) also have capability to strengthen liver to control the hepatitis. These pills are indicated for the treatment of chronic persistent hepatitis with increased A.L.T. A dose of 5-10 tiny pills daily is enough to control the A.L.T.

Spiritual Treatment of Hepatitis
1. Listen Surah Al-Rahman in the voice of Qari Abdul Basit, without translation: First drink half glass of water as per Sunnah way, then sit or lay down in rest position, start Surah Al-Rahman with high volume, close your eyes and listen with attention. When the Ayat “Fa-be Ayye Ala-e Rabbiku Ma Tukazzibaan (فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ)” is repeatedly recited than visualize that Allah (SWT) is blessing you with good health. As much strong believe you will create, so much sooner you will be healthy. After Surah is completed, open your eyes, drink rest of the water. Repeat all above at least thrice a day for seven days.
2. Spend maximum of your time reciting the following, one after one, in your heart:
Rabbe Innee Maghloobun Funtaasir (رﹶبِّ اِنِّيْ مَغْلُوْبٌ فَأنْتَصِرْ)
La Howla wla Quwwata Illa Billahil Aliyyil Azeem (لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ اِلاَّ بِاللّهِ الْعَلِىِّ الْعَظِيْم)
Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyoom, Be Rahmatika Astaghees (یَاحَیُّ یَاقَیُّوْمُ بِرَحْمَتِکَ اَسْتَغِیْثُ)
Ya Allahu, Ya Rahmanu, Ya Raheemu (یَااَللہُ، یَا رَحْمٰنُ، یَا رَحِیْمُ )
3. Put your hands on the Pancreas location, close your eyes and write اللہ in your mind, then recite the following:
Once “Darood Ibrahimi” دَرُوْد اِبْرَاهِيْمِي
Three times “Bismillah” بِسْمِ الله
Seven times “A’oozu Bi-Izzatillahi wa Qudratihi Min Sharri Ma Ajidu wa Oohaziru” أَعُوْذُ بِعِزَّۃِاللهِ وَقُدْرَتِهٖ مِنْ شَرِّمَا اَجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ
Seven times “As’a Lullahal Azeema Rabbal Arshil Azeeme An-Yashfiyaka” أَسْأَلُ اللہَ الْعَظِیْمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِیْمِ أَنْ یَّشْفِیَکَ
“Surah Fatiha” سُوْرَۃُ الْفَاتِحَۃ , (3 times)
Recite once “DaroodIbrahimi”دَرُوْد اِبْرَاهِيْمِي, Say in your heart: “Allah Shaafi, Allah Kaafi, Allah Muaafi” اللہ شافی، اللہ کافی، اللہ معافی, and open the eyes.
If patient can’t do it, any other person can do it on the patient.
Repeat it at least five or more times in a day, for speedy cure.
4. Recite Surah Al-bayyinah and Surah Maryam and blow on water and drink, thrice a day, for three days.
5. Take a bottle of water on Friday in pray two rakaat Salatul Haajat. Then start reciting Darood Pak, after praying Sunnah and until Khutba-e-Juma. After Friday prayer recite 11 times Darood Pak, and three times Surah Al-bayyinah, then again 11 times Darood Paak, and blow on the water in bottle. Now drink this water until 3 to 7 days.
6. In case of any wound, pain, stone or any liver disease, please recite “Bismillah al-Rahman-e-Raheem, Tabarak-asmoka Rabbika Zuljalale Wal-Ikraam (بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ۔ تَبَارَکَ اسْمُ رَبِّکَ ذُوْلْجَلَالِ وَالْاِکْرَامِ)“, and blow on water, and drink early in the morning.
7. Recite all the time “Bismillah al-Rahman-e-Raheem, Rabbe Inni Massani-al-Dhurru wa Anta Arhamur-Rahemeen (بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ۔ رَبِّ اِنِّیْ مَسَّنِیَ الضُّرُّ وَ اَنْتَ اَرْحَمُ الرّٰاحِمِیْنَ (الانبیاء۔83)).
ہیپا ٹائیٹس کا روحانی علاج
نسخہ۔۱: قاری عبدالباسط کی آواز میں سورۃ الرّحمٰن کی تلاوت (بغیر ترجمہ) مندرجہ ذیل طریقہ سے سنیں: شیشے کے گلاس میں پانی لیکر آدھا گلاس سنت طریقے سے پی لیں اور باقی ماندہ پانی ڈھانپ کر رکھ دیں۔ اب اپنی آنکھیں بند کر کےسورۃ الرّحمٰن اتنی آواز میں توجہ سے اور ڈوب کر سنیں کہ باہر کی دوسری آوازیں اس پر حاوی نہ آ سکیں۔ جب (فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ) بار بار آئے تو پورے یقین کے ساتھ تصور کریں کہ صحت بھی اللہ کی ایک نعمت ہے جو کہ اللہ آپ کو لوٹا رہا ہے۔ اور اپنے آپ کو صحتمند ہوتا ہوا محسوس کریں۔ جب تمام سورۃ سن لیں تو آنکھیں کھول کر باقی ماندہ پانی پی لیں۔ یہ عمل دن میں دو سے پانچ بار دہرائیں۔ انشاءاللہ ایک ماہ کے اندر موذی مرض سے نجات مل جائے گی۔
نسخہ۔۲: اٹھتے بیٹھتے، سوتے جاگتےہر وقت مندرجہ ذیل وِرد زبان پر جاری رکھیں
۔۱۔ رﹶبِّيْ اِنِّيْ مَغْلُوْبٌ فَأنْتَصِرْ ۔۲۔ یَاحَیُّ یَاقَیُّوْمُ بِرَحْمَتِکَ اَسْتَغِیْثُ، ۔۳۔ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ اِلاَّ بِاللّهِ الْعَلِىِّ الْعَظِيْم
نسخہ ۳: پانی پر روزانہ تین بار سُوْرَۃ اَلْبَیِّنَۃ پڑھ کر دم کریں اور مریض کو تین دن تک پلائیں ۔۔۔ انشاءاللہ ہوگی۔
نسخہ ۴: دایاں ہاتھ تکلیف کے مقام پر رکھیں، آنکھیں بند کر کے ذہن میں اللہ لکھیں: ۲۔ پھر یہ پڑھیں: سُورۃ فاتحۃ (مع بسم اللہ) (1 بار)، دَرُوْد اِبْرَاهِيْمِي (1 بار)، بِسْمِ الله (3 بار)، أَعُوْذُ بِعِزَّۃِ للهِ وَقُدْرَتِهٖ مِنْ شَرِّمَا اَجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ (7 بار)، أَسْأَلُ اللہَ الْعَظِیْمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِیْمِ أَنْ یَّشْفِیَکَ (7 بار)، دَرُوْد اِبْرَاهِيْمِي (1 بار)، ۳۔ دل میں اللہ شافی، اللہ کافی، اللہ معافی کہیں اور آنکھیں کھول دیں۔ یہ عمل روزانہ ہر نماز کے بعداور اس کے علاوہ بھی جتنی دفعہ ممکن ہو دہرائیں۔
نسخہ ۵: جمعہ کے دن پانی کی ایک بوتل ساتھ لیکرسب سے پہلے مسجد جا کر دو رکعت تحیۃ المسجد پڑھیں اور سنت ادا کرنے کے بعد خطبہ جمعہ شروع ہونے تک مسلسل درود پاک پڑھتے رہیں۔ نماز جمعہ کے بعد گیارہ بار درود ابراہیمی اور پھر تین بار سورۃ البیّنۃ پڑھیں۔ بعد میں پھر گیارہ مرتبہ درود ابراہیمی پڑھ کر پانی پر دم کریں اور تین سے سات یوم تک روزانہ مریض کو پلائیں۔ سخت سے سخت یرقان کا انشاءاللہ خاتمہ ہو جائے۔
نسخہ ۶: اگر کسی کو جگر کا کوئی مرض ہوتو ایک کاغذ پر بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ۔ کَانَ الْبَحْرُ مِدَادً لِّکَلِمَاتِ رَبِّیْ لکھ کر مرد کے بازو اور عورت کے گلے میں باندھ دیں۔ یہی کلمات چینی کی پلیٹ پر لکھ کر اور پھر اسے دھو کر صبح نہار منہ پلائیں۔ انشاءاللہ مکمل شفاء ہو گی۔
نسخہ ۷: اگر کسی کو جگر میں زخم، درد، پتھری یا کوئی بھی مرض لاحق ہوتو یہ آئت مبارکہ اکیس بار پڑھ کرروزانہ نہار منہ پلائیں: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ۔ تَبَارَکَ اسْمُ رَبِّکَ ذُوْلْجَلَالِ وَالْاِکْرَامِ ۔ انشاءاللہ مکمل شفاء ہو گی۔
نسخہ ۸: اگر کسی بھی قسم کا کوئی مرض لاحق ہوتو یہ آئت مبارکہ کثرت سے پڑھیں: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ۔ رَبِّ اِنِّیْ مَسَّنِیَ الضُّرُّ وَ اَنْتَ اَرْحَمُ الرّٰاحِمِیْنَ (الانبیاء 83)۔ انشاءاللہ مکمل شفاء ہو گی۔
نسخہ ۹: یہ دعامبارکہ پڑھیں: اَذْھِبِ الْبَاْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، اَشْفِ وَ اَنْتَ الشَّافِیْ لَا شِفَاءً اِلَّا شِفَائُکَ شِفَاءً لَّا یُغَادَرُ سَقَمًا (صحیح بخاری)۔ اور مریض پر دایاں ہاتھ پھیریں۔
نسخہ ۱۰: گیارہ مرتبہ سورۃ بنی اسرائیل کی آیت نمبر 80 کا یہ حصہ ۔۔۔ رَبِّ أَدْخِلْنِيْ مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَّأَخْرِجْنِيْ مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَّاجْعَلْ لِّي مِنْ لَّدُنْكَ سُلْطَانًا نَّصِيْرًا۔
گیارہ مرتبہ سورہ یٰسین کی آیت نمبر 58 سَلَامٌ قَوْلاً مِّنْ رَّبٍّ رَّحِيْمٍ
مذکورہ وظائف پڑھ کر پانی پر دم کر یں اور روزانہ پئیں، جب کم ہونے لگے تو مزید پانی شامل کریں، اسی طرح یہ دم کھانے کی دیگر اشیأ پر بھی کر سکتے ہیں۔ اگر مریض خود نہ پڑھ سکے تو گھر کا کوئی بھی فرد جو وضو اور غسل کے احکام جانتا ہو وہ کر دے۔ جسمانی ورزش، مضر خوراک سے پرہیز اور دیگر طبی آرأ کو ہمیشہ ملحوظِ رکھیں۔
نسخہ ۱۱:۔
۔۱۔ پانچوں نماز کے وضو کے ساتھ سنت سمجھ کر مسواک کریں۔ مسواک کے فوائد و برکات کثیر ہیں۔
۔۲۔ صاف پانی کی ایک بوتل بھر لیں، روزانہ کم از کم ایک مرتبہ درجِ ذیل طریقہ سے اس پر دم کریں۔
۔۳۔ گیارہ مرتبہ مندرجہ ذیل درودِ شفأ: اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی سَیِّدِنَا وَمَولَانَا مُحَمَّدٍ طِبِّ القُلُوبِ وَ دَوَائِھَا وَعَافِیَةِ الاَبدَانِ وَشِفَائِھَا وَنُورِ الاَبصَارِ وَضِیَائِھَا وَعَلٰی آلِہ وَصَحبِہ وَبَارِک وَسَلِّم ۔
گیارہ مرتبہ بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْم
گیارہ مرتبہ بِسْمِ اللهِ الّذِيْ لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِيْ الأَرْضِ وَلَا فِيْ السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيْعُ العَلِيْمُ۔
گیارہ مرتبہ سورۃ بنی اسرائیل کی آیت نمبر 80 کا یہ حصہ ۔۔۔ رَبِّ أَدْخِلْنِيْ مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَّأَخْرِجْنِيْ مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَّاجْعَلْ لِّي مِنْ لَّدُنْكَ سُلْطَانًا نَّصِيْرًا ۔

مذکورہ تمام وظائف پڑھ کر پانی پر دم کر لیں، روزانہ یہ پانی پئیں، جب کم ہونے لگے تو مزید پانی شامل کریں، اسی طرح یہ دم کھانے کی دیگر اشیأ پر بھی کر سکتے ہیں۔ اگر مریض خود نہ پڑھ سکے تو گھر کا کوئی بھی فرد جو وضو اور غسل کے احکام جانتا ہو وہ کر دے۔
Dietary Guidelines
- A diet which would be considered appropriate for any healthy person is recommended.
- If supplementary vitamins are required a daily multi-vitamin without additional iron is suggested.

Instead of Bifendate Pills, you may use the following:
Please avoid using the sugar, Aspartame (an artificial sweetener made from aspartic acid), Table Salt, Acidic Foods (meat-based diet, all fried foods), coffee, tea, chocolate, distilled water, water bottles in freezers, plastic containers or plastic wraps, microwave ovens, toxic chemicals & pesticides, Aflatoxins produced by fungi, Cell Phones, Laptops, Tablets, Alcohol, Food Supplements, Talcum powders, and all packed food items.
.. Please wash fresh green Dhamasa branches (including Flowers, Leaves, Seed Buds) by grinding a handful of it, in three glasses of water and then drink after meals, thrice a day. If can’t find fresh Dhamasa plants, then soak at night, half teaspoon of Dhamasa Powder and a quarter teaspoon of Sumbloo Powder, in one cup of hot water. In the morning mix two tablespoon of this water in any fresh fruit juice, and feed the baby, on normal temperature, empty stomach, after every two or three hours, all the day. Throw away the powder and again soak fresh powder for next day.
.. Mix two parts of Dhamasa Powder, One part of Sumbloo Powder and half part of Turmeric Powder. Take quarter teaspoon or 500mg capsule of this mixture, twice a day, with a glass of mixed fresh fruit juice, after meals.
.. In summer season, consume twice a day, mix of 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed Lemons in a large glass of water, sweetened with one spoon of Honey. In winter mix one cup of Lemon Juice, one cup of Honey and half teaspoon of Turmeric Powder. Mix them in a glass-jar and take one teaspoon thrice a day.
.. Eat with each meal, Sauce of Marjoram (Origanum Majorana or Tulsi), Coriander (Mint), Ginger & Garlic and Fennel Seeds in Black Peppers.
.. Mix Lemon Juce, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Kalonji Oil and Honey (All in equal quantity) and keep in a glass jar. Take one teaspoon, twice a day, for 2 months. (Sugar patients may avoid Honey.)
.. Perform Islamic Reiki for Every Disease by placing hands on or over the problematic areas.
.. Perform recipes of Spiritual Cure for fatal diseases as well.

Dear Shakeel sb, AOA. My mother 71 years of age and is suffering from Hepatitis C since 2005. She was operated in DHA Lahore hospital for Gall Bladder stones in 2005 and then developed Hepatitis C after ERCP as one stone slipped in Bile Duct after Lapcoly.
We have tried Interfurone therapy for all in vain. Now she has developed Cirrohsis and complications are increasing day by day. Dear Asif Sheikh, AoA, If you have fresh Dhamasa plants, then better to cut its green branches, then wash and grind them in water including thorns, leaves and flowers. Then add more water and filter the water through a filter. Now drink one cup or glass of this water, thrice a day, after meals.
You can also wash and dry these green branches in airy shadow. Then grind them to powder and filter through cloth. Now take 1000mg to 2000mg of this powder thrice a day, after meals.

Almost 6 years ago, I was declared a victim of HCV, at 97%. I was gone through the injection therapy for HCV but of no use. The doctors informed my father that there is no cure for this disease at this stage, however, the patient should use some vitamins regularly so that she can live for some period. Dear Mir Ahmed Ali, Dhamasa can give you more benefits if it contains flowers, leaves or seeds. However, it improves kidneys and stomach as well. I can’t understand your friends info about kidney damage by Dhamasa. I think his info is baseless, because Dhamasa herb is always included in many recipes to cure kidneys.
